On May 7th five of our members from the Humberside Young Magicians’ Workshop competed for the Setterington Trophy. Joseph Lee, Jamie McKellar, James Fisher, Aleks Pawinski and Kai Wymes all participated with confident presentations. The winner was 15 year old Aleks Pawinski and runner-up Kai Weymes. Alan Johnston presented the Trophy. Prizes of books are being supplied by member Steve Short and his company Magic Books By Post. Richard Morrell organized and stage managed the evening assisted by Jon Marshall, Malcolm Bromwich and Tom Wilkinson.
